About Lynne Goldin
After graduating college with a degree in fine arts, I spent the next decade in a NYC Soho loft creating large, minimal paintings but gave it all up when I refocused my efforts to raising my children, working full time, (and moving to the suburbs of NJ). Over time, I started to use photography as a creative outlet, using my iPhone and various apps to create digital artwork. Now I am retired and living in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. When I relocated I deconstructed my large paintings (so that I could transport them cross country!) and used some of the pieces of canvas to create new, smaller works. The majority of the work here are what I call my "Composites". I use details of photos of my paintings (from as far back as the 1980s as well as my current work), combined with details of my photos of landscapes (mostly of the sky, the sea or the beach) and create a new unique work of digital art that represents my minimal aesthetic. Besides my Composite Collection I have included some of my other digital collages and favorite miscellaneous photos.
